Skinny Guy Massive Muscle Building Lesson 1: The Three 'Musts' You Need To Have
If you're a skinny guy looking to build muscle, it's important that you learn the 'musts' that will need to be in place if you're going to see maximum gains. Those who skip over any of these three factors are without a doubt just going to waste hours of precious time in the gym.
Since you have no time to waste and want nothing but the top results right now, let's go over the three things that you need to know about so that you can get the best results possible for your effort.
Overloading Stimulus
The very first must that you're going to have to have is an overloading stimulus. If you're going into the gym day in and day out and doing the same workout over and over and over again, what reason are you really giving your body to change?
That's easy – you aren't. Instead, it's just going to stay exactly as it is right now. Small and skinny.
If you go into the gym and put new demands on it though – demands that it's never seen before, that's when you're really going to notice a high level of results taking place. Never underestimate the importance of change within a given workout program.
Without it, you'll have nothing.
Rest
Second, after this stimulus has been placed on the muscle, step two is making sure that you're giving yourself enough rest. Since you've just broken down that muscle tissue, if you want it to actually grow back stronger again, rest must be given.
Neglect rest and you're just going to get weaker. This is the skinny guy's biggest mistake. Since they already have a slower recovery ability than other 'regular' trainers out there, they must have even greater rest than the next guy.
Sadly though, most of them use less rest. So that right there is a huge problem. Skinny guys need more rest than others, so really don't let yourself get into that 'more is better' mind set. For you, more is not better. More will derail all progress entirely.
Nutrition
Finally, the last 'must have' for any skinny guy is proper nutrition. Whether you want to admit it or not, if you're not eating enough, you won't grow. Period.
Many skinny guys will try and get around this – they'll work extra hard in the gym and tell themselves if they do that, their body will just use whatever foods they feed it to build the muscle.
Not so. You can't build something out of nothing so if you're currently working hard and not growing, then you know with absolute certainty the problem is a lack of calorie support.

So there you have the three 'musts' for proper muscle growth. Neglect these at your own risk – if you do, you won't get the results you're after.
